What a wonderful boy! Glad he got a second chance so quickly! Yay George!
(Though I have to admit I saw this post first after being gone for a week and thought you had lost your minds and adopted a third giant dog! Not that I wouldn't support that decision, but a third dog so quickly! Ack!)
Although I am sorry about Pepper/Rufus, I think the George/Belly match was meant to be. Seriously, look at those guys together. That spells a whole lotta fun.
He's gorgeous! I love the dark-yellow lab coat, especially with the Golden feathers thrown in -- looks so much like my sweet lab mix, McKinley (still hyper and wonderful at 10+ years old). And George was the name of my roommate's fantastic orange tomcat when we were in college (who was a crazy cat at age 17+ then, and lived many years after), so any orange animal named George that looks like McKinley is guaranteed (in my mind) to have a wonderful happy long life. Congratulations!
Perfect! We lost our George in March. Took the biter back to the Humane society and now have a new puppy. When he is big enough we should get the dogs together to romp.
Hi George! You're a very handsome fellow - so glad you found a wonderful new home!
ReplyDeleteGeorge looks very happy. He was no doubt just waiting for you guys to have an opening.

What a great face. He looks like a great dog and I am sure he will fit right into your family. Have fun with him.
ReplyDeleteWhat a smile! He is a perfect George.
ReplyDeleteHi George! Such a happy dog-face! :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome, George!
ReplyDeleteLOL--Chris and I just adopted a cat yesterday. She and our existing cat Iphi are *not* frolicking together. Sigh. Dogs are so much easier, socially.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Also: George is gorgeous! He has such a sweet, smiley doggyface.
ReplyDeleteWill you hug him and pet him and squeeze him in addition to calling him George?
ReplyDeleteWell, hello handsome....
ReplyDeleteGeorge!!! What a face. A-george-able!
ReplyDeleteGeorge and Belly. BFFs.

ReplyDeleteHe's just too cute! Hope he and Belly are bestest friends by now!
