I always sort of wonder what the models are wearing at fashion shows say about the current mindset of our culture, and now I have decided I just don't want to know anymore...
Well, Martha, I suspect that this is what happens after years of oppression and Big Brother government. You get spaghetti/pizza/spikes shirts. You get anti-gravity hair. You get complexions so bad that even models wear masks. It's a sad commentary on life. Yee-gods.
Remember that commercial showing Soviet fashion - Svimvare, eveningk wear - and it was all the same fireplug shaped woman in a housedress and babushka? That was funny and true to Soviet life. If this is the artistic aspiration of post-Soviet fashion, bring back the svimvare!
What? Seriously, with all respect, can anyone explain this?
