Looking at a project on Ravelry. Glance at the yarn used, think, "I've never heard of that before, must be foreign." The yarn was called "No Lable." Can I claim to be thrown off by the misspelling?
Oh, goodie, I'm another proud pedant, Jo. I am appalled at the misspellings these days. (I confess that I looked up "appalled" but I'm proud that I have a dictionary at hand and don't just wing it.)
I love it. We have correct spelling for a reason. Of course, my motto is, "Pedantic and proud of it!". Jo

ReplyDeleteI have to laugh at the label you filed this under, and couldn't help clicking to see that this is not the first post under "Humility"!
ReplyDeleteI love that you've used a Rugrats quote
