I am not overly excited. They are going somewhere, I just am not sure where. The last issue of IK made me think I am not renewing. There was not ONE thing I had any interest in.. bit sigh, I used to love them
This is a good issue. I think I also like the octopus, the yule trees and the mchenry hat. They are so awesome. The kids would surely love to wear the hat.
I LOVE the hollyberry bonnet and cape but have no one to make it for. Some of the shawls are nice.
ReplyDeletethat octopus is teh awesome. i just hope my mom doesn't see that giant bag. I'm already working on the bag that never ends.

ReplyDeleteI might actually buy this issue...which is saying something.
ReplyDeletePretty good issue.....I like the Octopus too!

ReplyDeleteI feel rather meh about this issue. There are some that are okay, but nothing that makes me want to cast on immediately.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am glad that Blogger is letting me comment now. Earlier, it shunned me and made me sad.
Best issue in a long time. I won't ever make the octopus (I have a hard enough time making two socks, let alone eight tentacles), but he is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe styling is still "off," but there are a lot of really nice designs, particularly the shawls and mitts.
Moar things for the menfolks, please!
ReplyDeleteNot a thing there I've gotta knit. I've kind of given up on magazines.
