I just have to crow about this somewhere, why not here?
I got a $25 off coupon from Sephora. I ordered a Bobbi Brown Blush Brush that I've wanted for years that costs $52.
So, okay, $52-$25 = $27 plus tax. Pretty good deal.
Then I got a $25 gift certificate from Shopkick.
$52-$25-$25 = $2 plus tax. Grand total on order, $6.94. Go me!
But I also used Ebates and will get $2.08 cash back on my order.
$6.94-$2.08= $4.86 for my beautiful new brush.
Woohoo.

Something to Do When You're Home Sick

I've had some type of cold/flu/sinus infection-y thing going on since Friday night. So why not shoot a makeup video! Be warned. I'm looking pretty rough. Also the audio is kind of low. Wes and I think we have figured out why but haven't been able to fix it yet.

My Miss Piggy eye shadow arrived yesterday. I was so excited to try it out this morning. Piggy's coloring is very different from mine. I wore my bluest shirt to bring out some blue in my eyes. I got out my pearls. Alas, I do not have elbow-length lavender satin gloves to complete the look. The weather is extremely gray and stormy which made getting a reasonable photo pretty hard. This should give you a little idea about the shadow color and also show how wobbly my attempts at liquid liner are.

P.S. I'm really close to finishing my skirt but am trying to not overdo it and give my sore thumb a rest.
