More Stashbusting Hats, Badly Lit

I was making a hat for charity with some leftover Evento from this hat. Then Wes lost his hat so it became his new hat.

This one, knit in some Noro Retro oddballs, has already been donated.

I could knit plain hats forever. They're my bliss.

Please Stand By

I'm on jury duty. Today is day two and I don't know how long this will last.
I did finish a long-languishing project yesterday but it will be a while before I can weave in ends and snap a photo. I was able to get my knitting into the jury room with bamboo needles. I packed a crochet project with a plastic hook too. Just in case.

Today is Wes's 42nd birthday so please wish him a happy one since I will be sitting in a windowless room in some wretched municipal building.

Wes's Continued Quest for Karaoke Video World Domination

The Northwest Film Forum held its annual Karaoke Video Challenge and Wes showed up full of win.

He did a Glee video.

The karaoke version is here.

He made a literal video for Hungry Like the Wolf (my idea, btw).

In this version you can here him sing it live.

Someone else performed his version of You Light Up My Life from a few years ago.

He also performed this Journey song. He did not create the video but he made the karaoke version of it.

Damn, He's Good

I was sitting here reading blogs and exclaimed, "Oh! Franklin is coming to Seattle!" And Wes says to me, "Is he bringing his sheep?"

Has he been paying attention or what?

Warning: You May Die from Laughter

Best Songsmith ever on Wes's blog. Most of these are merely dreadful but this one...this one is beyond the pale.
