Thursday Is for What the Hell Is This?
Yup. This is how I wear my handknit hats.
I'm actually hula hooping in a shiny leotard right now while I type.

What's Your Number?
Here's a fun Ravelry tip. You can find out your Ravelry number (when you joined Ravelry's 4,213,343 users) using the Konami code. Here's how.
1) Go to your "about me" page.
2) Use the Konami code ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA (on my PC I do this by holding the Ctrl key and using the arrow buttons).
3) The screen goes blue.
Pretty fun trick, eh?

Experiment in Automation
I'm trying out IFTTT (If This Then That). The idea is that it allows you to link up various online profiles and wifi-enabled devices and run simple scripts (they call them "recipes"). So I've set one up that allows me to automatically post an Instagram photo to my blog if I use a particular tag. My internet life is fairly separate. I post things to Instagram which I sometimes share on Facebook and Twitter. I post to Facebook. I post to Twitter. I post to my blog. I'm all over the place! I don't want to endless duplicate posts from one media stream to another but there's only so much time in the day, right? There are also recipes for my Fitbit. I now get a text message at 10:30 pm if I haven't hit my step goal for the day. I don't think I'll be using the recipe that sends a text message to go get coffee when you don't get enough sleep though.
Hopefully this cyber-integration will allow me to post more often. Hope you like it.

Thursday Is for What the Hell Is This?
Knitwear designers will not be satisfied until they are able to send a model down a runway wearing nothing but underpants and one single gargantuan knitted stitch.

Thursday Is for What the Hell Is this?
Now for a bit of haiku.
Through the sea I float
the saddest anemone
'ere seen in the world.
Through bloodstream I float
the saddest 'lil blood cell
'ere seen in the world.
Under the yoke weight
I collapse in a big heap
the saddest model.
