This is what you get when you take the singles you spun in Judith MacKenzie's tweed class then, as soon as you arrived home from Madrona, spun a bunch of random, plain wool and plied it all. At least, that's what I got. Plying one smooth single with a tweedy single created a surprisingly, perhaps, disappointingly smooth yarn.
