Two hats knit as one long tube with ribbing at either end then clipped in half (only snipping one leg of one stitch) and the crown decreases added. This wasn't the plan but I was knitting at the movies and made it much too long. Instead of ripping I decided to problem solve! #rosekimknits

How I Roll
Pattern: How I Roll
Needles: US1 Addi Turbos
Yarns: Fiber Optic Foot Notes, Knitted Wit Gumball, Koigu KPM, Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply, Dream in Color Smooshy
Notes: Another stripey stashbuster! I have to admit I only kind of glanced at the pattern. I don't think I handled my color blending quite as layed out in the pattern. I also just grabbed leftovers I wanted to use up and didn't plan out a smooth blend. They are cute and stripey nonetheless and the first socks I've finished in years.

Find Your Fade
Pattern: Find Your Fade
Needles: US4 Addi Turbos
Yarn: All of it! Seriously, I used lots and lots of scraps and mini skeins from Sanguine Gryphon, Mocha's Fiber Farm, Sophie's Toes, Hazel Knits, Koigu, Blue Moon Fiber Arts and Shibui. 1725 yards in total.
Notes: I was a bad pattern follower for this one. Because I was using small bits of yarn I kept running out when I tried to knit the lace sections (you're supposed to blend shades in the garter sections) so I kept having to cut my lace sections short and eventually I just gave up on the lace altogether and knit, knit, knit, knit, knit my way to the end. This took forever. It's nine feet long. I love a good stashbuster but, oh man, did this try my patience.
