I knit a sweater for Ash based on the class I took with @franklin.habit at @redalderfiberarts. After all the fiddly-ness of Cookie and Crumbles, the bulky headband for this week's Novel Noel Advent by @olgajazzyknits, Truss, was refreshing. My tucks came out pretty irregular though. If you knit this be smarter than me and use a springy yarn. This is an old merino/cotton that I chose for the fluffy texture and it's very slack. #rosekimknits

I needed a skein of a super bulky ombré for am upcoming project so I dyed one myself! That neon center was supposed to be chartreuse but I grabbed the wrong dye. Whoops. My cowl is finished and I finally took a photo in daylight which better shows the color but also the short row pattern. If you saw my video from over the weekend I noticed when I was nearly done with the project that I had not changed directions on one of my triangles. I cut one edge stitch and ripped out the section and grafted it back together. The graft isn't totally invisible but neither is the graft where the end and beginning meet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pattern is Running Uphill, free on @hi.ravelry. #rosekimknits

Younger Son came home for spring break (and possibly the rest of the school year?) yesterday. I got to compare his sweater to the pullover I was basing it on. I hadn't realized that it tapered quite a bit from the hips. My version is too big and I have ripped the whole body out and have to start it again. On the plus side I was worried I would run out of yarn so now that should be less of a concern. #rosekimknits #knittingwip

When Younger Son was home for winter break he asked me to knit him a sweater. We couldn't find yarn in the color he wanted do we dyed this is yarn from my stash together. He said he wanted a "muted red." I would call it a dusty rose. I'm knitting an EZ Seamless Set-in Sleeve Sweater. He also requested hems and a henley neckline. I'm a little worried about having enough yarn and my knitting time has been scarce with the puppy around. #knittingwip #rosekimknits

For 2020 I want to really work through my fingering-weight yarn. So I've started a Granny Stripes crocheted blanket, like everyone else in my feed, using oddballs and unloved skeins held doubled.
