A blog about my life, knitting, and other stuff.

It all started when I was brain-storming about class ideas with the owner at The Fiber Gallery.
"We should have a class on that kid's poncho pattern everyone is knitting," I said.
Then the draft of the schedule was handed to me and I realized this meant I was going to teach that class. And then it hit me. I was going to have to knit a poncho.

All right. Laugh all you want. I grabbed some Cascade 220 in baby pink and went to work. I'm about halfway done with it. I just keep telling myself I'm making a top-down raglan--without sleeves. Fortunately, it' a 2-4 size. The finished length is only 13 inches. It will all be over soon. Then comes the fringe.
