Another Common Mistake

While having our Christmas dinner (going out for Chinese) Wes and I were playing a game with our older son. You name a food and the next person has to name a food that starts with the last letter of the previous food. As we were doing this our younger son was drawing lots of mythical creatures. There was Nessie, a yeti, a troll, Cerberus, a centaur, etc. He ran out of ideas just as it was Wes's turn to come up with a food that starts with "G." Wes said, "geoduck" (click the link and listen to the pronunciation if you're not familiar with it.) directed to our older son. Our younger son asked for clarification. "Is that a duck that's all gooey?"
