Upended

We had a real shock here yesterday. Wes's mother had a fall and fractured her spine. She's had surgery and her doctors think she's doing well. She will have a long recovery which will include several weeks in a rehab facility. Wes's father is not able to care for himself. Their home is about an hour away from us. Wes is ferrying his dad back and forth to the hospital, their house and our house. Life will be pretty chaotic here for a while.
