Thursdays are for What the Hell is This?

The videos of the fall fashion show from TNNA are up now on Youtube. I have selected a few to highlight what I felt were the most "Thursday" of the offerings.

If you jump to 8:09 you will see a sweater desperately in need of a set of Neuticles. Someone prop up those shoulders!

Here at 2:55 is a sweater called the "Clown Cardigan." That's the actual name. I am not just being cruel and calling it that.

Clown Cardigan. Really.

Too bad about the first one -- neuticle sacs aside, it's cute.

CLown Cardigan? I'm thinking barnacles.

Well, if you put pom poms all over a sweater, it does sell more yarn. But, can you imagine sitting back in a chair with that on? Ick!

The other just needs a bit of help.

The one right before the clown cardigan looks like a toodler walking with a full diaper.

yep, I thought furry barnacles, too. Yarnacles? Yarnacles could be used to prop up those shoulders on that other one!

Yeah, that one right before the clown cardigan, with the "peacock tail" is just...special.

Thank you for making me look forward to Thursday! (even if I forget about it until Friday once in a while)
And seriously, who designs this stuff with, "this so has fall 2010 written all over it. By December I'll be RICH!" in mind?

Interesting...The one after the yarnicle sweater,Sierra Swing?, had this weird extra armpit flap, visible when the 85 pound model held her arms up. Perhaps, on someone like me, the extra fabric is actually necessary.

What's with the butt flap on the previous sweater (at 2.20 min.)? She looks like she's got a full load in there. And what's with her forehead? It's sooo shiny. The voice over is saying something about a fresh look and all I can think about is plastic wrap and poo-poo stink. Fresh indeed!

My husband says it the "clown" one looks like one of those suits they use for motion-capture for animation!
