There are a couple things I liked. The black and white gloves are nice! Of course, I'm excited most of all that I don't have to brush my hair this fall! Woohoo!! :-P
Lots of almosts here - the turtleneck except for the tie, the vest except for the lack of shaping, the cardigan except for the overly loose sleeves, the lace top where the model seems to be hurting herself to keep the pose so there's gotta be something wrong with the shaping/sizing...
Apart from the big'n'sloppy stuff, there are some good things here. Not as fab as the fall Twist Collective, but an issue of VK costs the same as one pattern from TC, so even a few desirable projects makes it a win - and justifies my subscription. -- Gretchen
I really like the stich patterns in the black and white section, also the piles of curly red hair make me jealous (my board-straight blonde hair simply can't compete).
I really do need some waist shaping into my sweaters! So, I'd probably have to modify...

That first girl looks like she has a bird's nest on her head! I don't see anything that appeals to me.

The black and white section is very promising. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

I disagree with FoFo... you will have to brush your hair this fall. Girls with curls know that a hairbrush is the fastest way to Frizzland.
For girls without curls, a hairbrush and a teasing comb will get the look nicely!
As for the knitting, most of it seems too 1980s oversized to me. I also need to look through the magazine to form a final opinion.

Love, love, love the Masterpiece Classics (Black, Grey & White story). And hey, my hair would be that big if i were tramping about the moors!
