Thursday Is for What the Hell Is This?, Throwback Edition

The Seattle Knitters Guild had it's annual Fiber Frenzy last night. There was a table for free stuff people were giving away with lots and lots of old knitting and sewing magazines. A few items jumped out at me so I'd thought I'd share them. Visitors to Seattle always marvel at the fact that people here almost never use umbrellas or wear raincoats. It's seen as a badge of honor to simply tolerate the rain (drizzle, really). Also no one wants to look like this.
 

It don't think it could ever rain hard enough to warrant wearing this fleshy monstrosity.

I don't think the next one needs much explanation. This shit is just scary.
