Thank you, Jessica! I will definitely be picking this issue up..there are several things in it that I would love to knit! The spoked cap and the slipper socks are a must!!! Thank you again!

The striped sweaters make me think of the 80's. I love the slipper socks. Quite the mixed bag. There are a few I think are awful.

It makes me sad to say it as there were so many beautiful things on her blog, but I don't think I'll find much in IK until Eunny moves on. The pattern themes have just not been appealing to me. The articles have become more exciting than the patterns. I'm sure recent years have been tough on IK but I think Eunny's ideas and my wishes are just too much out of sync. Oh well, thanks for the heads up on the preview as always.

Mixed bag-- I'm not sorry I let my subscription lapse. Most of the socks are nice, but the only "love" is for the Ginevra pullover. The skirt looks great, but I'm afraid that any hand-knitted skirt will end up buttsprung and saggy. (I know, time to search Ravelry on the subject: how to keep a skirt looking fit).

Oh. My. The only pattern that even remotely appeals to me is the skirt, and I could never pull off wearing it. Sigh...

Wow, not sure I'm going to knit a Pat Benetar sweater anytime soon.

My reaction to this issue was OMIGOD it's AWFUL. I sure wish that Eunny's wonderful fashion aesthetic, as demonstrated by what she designed to knit for herself, had been able to carry over into the magazine! A lot of people like the Ginevra pullover but I cannot see how anyone who actually has boobs could wear it.

What was that theme?
"Anything from the 40s thru 80s"?
"Anything Boring"?
"Anything"?
