Another Year, Another Red Sweater

Pattern: Basics EPS sweater
Yarn: Cascade 128 Superwash
Needle: US9
Notes: Younger Son no longer fits in the sweater I knit for him last year (that he wore nearly every day last winter) so it was time for yet another red sweater. I completely improvised this based on Elizabeth's Percentage System (info is available in all of Elizabeth Zimmermann's books). I made the neck a little too high but my son likes it because it's very cozy.

Love it! I keep thinking the eps can't really be that simple but you've proven yet again it works. Thanks!

Ooh, I like the colors you chose.

Just finished a project using that yarn - loved it. This looks great!

Looks like there are three sweaters in the second pic. Am I hallucinating?

I suspect you use the eps the way I use the Leisure Arts raglan. Fits a jillion sizes, and I've made dozens of them over the years.

Ah, winter. Red sweater. That probably ought to be my next project. (As soon as I get DS's chemo blanket off the needles.)
